 1.  Overview the trade of SRI LANKA in goods current year until 202203

According to Dalian Infobank, in 202203, SRI LANKA's exports and imports of goods amounted to 2844.1603 million, and were down 3.17% comparing with the same period of last year. Among these, exports were down 3.86% at 1022.5861 million, and imports were down 2.78% at 1821.5742 million. And the corresponding trade deficit was 798.9881 million and down 1.35%.

During the current year until 202203, SRI LANKA's total exports and imports of goods were 8552.7194 million and were up 9.50% comparing to the same period of last year. Among these, exports were 3121.0973 million and up 5.58%; imports were 5431.6221 million and up 11.89%. The total trade deficit was 2310.5247 million and up 21.73%.

If considering by country (region), INDIA, CHINA, UNITED STATES, UNITED ARAB EMIRATES, UNITED KINGDOM were SRI LANKA's top five trading partners. Among these, exports from SRI LANKA to China were 64.8487 million and down 16.13%, imports from China to SRI LANKA were 1209.7968 million and up 14.24%. The total binational trade deficit was 1144.9481 million and up 16.63%.

During the urrent year until 202203, commodities with hs2 code, 84, 85, 60, 72, 55, were binational trade's top five traded commodities.
